Established in 1978, Detercolor has been established in the current headquarters in 1980. It was founded by Roberto Novello, who first selected the line of auxiliary products specific for laundry garments, precursor in this field has instructed many laundries to wash the denim and Stone Wash treatments.
No less important was the introduction on the market of auxiliary products for dyeing and finishing that, thanks to a continuous evolution, also attentive to aspects concerning environmental protection, now allows DETERCOLOR to be a reference point for woolen mills. , cotton mills, hosiery factories, weaving, printing and dyeing plants in all the processing stages of protein fibers, artificial and synthetic cellulosic, whether in staples, tops, bobbins, skeins, pieces or finished garments.

On May 26, 1999 Detercolor achieved the certification of the quality system in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9002 standards by the ENTI CERTIQUALITY. Subsequently Detercolor srl has adjusted its Quality System in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standards obtaining, on May 5, 2017, the certificate n.1976, which attests it.
Given the growing importance of environmental sustainability and the reduction of harmful chemicals, we have begin a process of certifying our products. In February 2021 we certified some products according to the GOTS 6.0 standard, and today we have 32 certified products.
In May 2022 we embarked on the ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certification process, arriving in December with the certification of 17 products compliant with the ZDHC MSRL v2.0 level 3.
