The KIMCOMPLEX is a complete multi-purpose product, designed for the denim fabric roughness and pre-treatment and purge prior to dyeing. It is a combination of a bacterial alpha amylase diastase and a high molecule fine-yielding antibaster.It can be applied to any continuous or discontinuous equipment.
The optimal pH of application is located between 5.8 and 7.5.
Slight or shorter discards affect enzymatic activity only minimally. If the alkalimetric water content is high it is necessary to bring the pH to 6 with dilute acetic acid.
As far as the temperature is concerned the maximum enzymatic activity is around 70 ° C, however it remains close to 100% for temperatures between 40 and 85 ° C.
The enzyme is made more stable at the temperature by the presence of the chlorine ion, it is therefore useful to add sodium chloride to the bath when it has to be kept between 50 ° C and 70 ° C for longer or shorter times or in case of desizing high temperature.
Practical tests have shown that a dose of 2 g / l of sodium chloride is sufficient. This dose should be increased to 5 gr / l when working for vaporization. In some cases it is useful to use a wetting agent that will be chosen according to its compatibility with the diastase.
